I want some . . .

To our surprise since Averi has only been saying single words for the most part up until this point, yesterday, she started saying "I want some" whenever she wanted us to give her something. Today she came up for some new uses for her sentence:

While Grandma (who Averi calls "Ba") was in the shower, Averi was "reading" books in the bathroom.  (Averi and I have been in Pennsylvania at my parents' house since last Friday when my dad was taken to the hospital.)  Averi must have gotten bored and missed my mom because all of a sudden, she pulled open the shower curtain and said, "I want some!"  My mom said, "You want some what?" to which Averi answered "Ba!"  Talk about a way to make a Grandmother's day!

Shortly after while Grandma and I were packing up everything that we would need for the day of visiting Granddad in the hospital, Averi found my cell phone on the table.  She brought it to me and said "I want some!"  I asked her, "You want some what?" to which she answered "Da Da!"  Of course, I called Daddy for her right away and we made his day as well when I told him the story.
