We had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day celebrating all the blessings God has poured into our lives. My parents were here from PA as is our tradition. Our friends from Brazil, Pastor Ernesto, Maristela, Felipe, Saulo, and Helena, joined us this year for what was their first ever Thanksgiving. We had a wonderful time of sharing testimonies of what we were thankful for, singing thanksgiving hymns and praise songs (some in English and some in Portuguese), and of course eating! The last month or so has been tough, so it was especially meaningful for me to spend some time with family and dear friends and to stop and focus on all the ways God is blessing me in spite of the difficulties.
