Averi has recently shown much interest in "talking" on the telephone. Whenever I call Jeff or my parents, Averi comes over and says "I do" over and over until I let her have the phone. She usually just listens and smiles, but will occasionally say a few words (whether we know what those words are is another story). The when she is done, she will say "Bye Bye" and quickly close the phone. With as much as Averi loves the telephone now, we cannot imagine what it will be like when she is a teenager! Noah is attached to the phone as well. He'll put his play phone up to his ear and say a hearty "hewwo" and when I ask him who he is talking to he says "mammaw" or "daddy". Never mommy *sighs* Then he'll hand the phone to me and I'm expected to talk.
