Today I called Jeff to ask him a question and when I hung up, Averi wanted me to call Grandma (aka Ba). When we talked to Grandma on the phone, Averi signed "music" indicating that she wanted Grandma to sing her a song. One of the songs Grandma sang to her was "Did Anybody Tell You I Love You Today?" Later at naptime, I was singing a song to Averi as is our routine. I happened to sing the same song and as soon as I sang the first line, "Did anybody tell you I love you today?" Averi looked at me and said "Ba" as if she was answering the question and couldn't believe that I didn't remember that Grandma had told her she loved her earlier.
